Tyler Wicks focuses his practice on probate and estate planning. He works with individuals and families navigating the legal and administrative matters that arise after the loss of a loved one and takes pride in guiding clients through what can often be a difficult and emotional time.
Originally from Downers Grove, Illinois, Tyler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Lake Forest College. While at Lake Forest, he was a member of the football team, served on the Athletic Council, and was Vice President of the Student Programming Board. After two seasons of collegiate football, he transitioned into sports broadcasting for the college.
Tyler first developed an interest in the legal field through internships with Zebra Technologies and the O’Connor Law Firm during his undergraduate studies. After graduating, he worked as a paralegal at Codilis & Associates in Burr Ridge, Illinois. He later attended the Charleston School of Law and, during his second year, was hired as a law clerk for the Law Office of Kathryn Cockrill.
Tyler earned his Juris Doctor in 2025. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Charleston County Bar Association.
Outside of the office, Tyler is a parishioner at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he enjoys volunteering and serving the community. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, and watching football, especially as a proud partial owner of the Green Bay Packers.
